The Young Professionals of Cowley County periodically recognizes outstanding young professionals with the Rising Star Award. Nominees should be highly active in the community, committed to making a difference, and 21-40 years of age. Dared and Renee Price of Graves Drug in Winfield and Arkansas City received this award on February 10th.
Oklahoma natives, Dared and Renee Price attend The University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy. They then briefly resided in Enid, Oklahoma and worked for a local pharmacy before having the opportunity to purchase Graves Drug Stores in Winfield and Arkansas City in 2010. Renee and Dared reside in Winfield and have three sons, Landon, Preston, and Greyson. Renee serves as the Past-Chairman of the Winfield Area Chamber of Commerce, is on the Cowley First Advisory Board, a director for Union State Bank, and is on Mosaic’s Partners in Possibilities Team. She is also a member of Soroptimist International of Arkansas City and Arkansas City Rotary. Dared currently serves as the Board President of the William Newton Hospital Foundation, is on the Cowley County Health Commission, and is a member of Winfield Rotary.
Renee also served on the Young Professionals of Cowley County Board of Directors from 2012 to 2016. This couple continues to do great things for their community and work hard for the benefit of Cowley County.
